> TrumpRx is a website that lists discounted drug prices from manufacturers that have agreed to Most Favored Nation (MFN) pricing. Americans can use TrumpRx to purchase drugs in cash (outside of their insurance). These drugs can be obtained at participating pharmacies using coupon cards displayed on TrumpRx or directly through manufacturers' websites.
BTW - this is literally how drug prices already worked. Drug companies provided insurance companies with marked up prices, but if you reached out to the drug company directly they gave you the same "final" prices that the insurance companies more or less received.
(Or some drugs play it both ways - for example Humira will literally pay off whatever your drug company doesn't cover)
Instead of fixing or ending this shady pricing practice, they just stood up a website to claim the fake "savings" for their own credit.

It's mildly depressing that, dunno, 20 years ago I would assume that worst this was just overstating a deal with companies that benefits a few people and at best a major change to pricing systems.
