Hi HN, I built ThumbNew because I noticed a gap between high-end design tools and the speed required for modern content creation. Most creators spend hours in Canva or Photoshop not because they want to "design," but because they need a high-CTR visual for their video. I wanted to see if I could automate the "vibe" and layout part using AI to generate production-ready thumbnails in seconds. Technical bits / Why I built this: Speed: It’s built to be near-instant. The UI is focused on "get in, get out." Tech Stack: Hosted on Netlify, leveraging AI for the image generation and layout logic. The "Vibe": I went with a neo-brutalist aesthetic to move away from the generic SaaS look we see everywhere in 2026.
