BUS Core is a local-first back-office app for small makers: inventory in/out, simple BOM/recipes, and an audit trail of every change.
Built it because spreadsheets drift and I wanted “why is this number wrong?” to have an actual answer.
Runs locally (no cloud required). Install via Windows EXE (code-signed), Docker, or CLI.
License: Core is AGPL. Commercial license available for orgs that can’t use AGPL.
Questions: What’s the minimum you’d need before you’d trust inventory counts? And would you prefer explicit workflows (predictable) over automation (fewer clicks)?
