Show HN: ClankerRank – Vibe coding is a real skill, I built a way to prove it

https://clankerrank.xyz
1•PGSave•1h ago
Every time someone mentions vibe coding online the comments are the same, "that's not real engineering," "you're just typing into chatgpt," "wait till you have to debug it." Meanwhile actual senior devs, founders, and PMs are shipping real products with AI every single day. the skill is real. it's just that nobody can measure it yet, so it's easy to dismiss. I built clankerrank to change that. real production problems: buggy payment logic, slow algorithms, messy codebases that need refactoring, features that need to be added without breaking existing tests. you write a prompt, AI generates the fix, hidden test suites decide if it actually works. no vibes, no opinions, just pass or fail. 25 problems across 5 categories. deterministic scoring. rating system that goes up when you solve hard stuff and down when you don't. the goal is simple, if you're good at shipping with AI, you should be able to prove it with a number. Built this solo on weekends while working full-time in india. next.js, supabase, claude api, judge0 for sandboxed execution. completely free. I genuinely believe companies will start hiring based on this skill soon. and when they do, the people who practiced early will have an unfair advantage. https://clankerrank.xyz

You won't get far by using a slur in your name. Nobody likes being stereotyped and pigeonholed, "AI" included. Maybe abject failure will teach you a lesson.

The name is a playful nod to AI, not a slur. Appreciate the feedback though.
