I just launched SMOG & Co — a digital platform bringing Spreken Met Ondersteuning van Gebaren (SMOG) to life. It’s designed for parents, caregivers, teachers, therapists, and anyone learning Dutch — even horses apparently .
What makes this fun (and maybe ridiculous) is that I built everything solo:

What makes this fun (and maybe ridiculous) is that I built everything solo:
Web app: React SPA, split-pane layout, fast search, favorites, multilingual & GDPR-compliant.
Mobile apps: React Native + Expo, offline-first videos, fully native feel.
Backend: Convex for real-time sync, Hono + oRPC for type-safe APIs, Mux for videos.
Extras: Sponsorship model for non-profits, analytics, offline sync.
Why it’s interesting:
250+ users in 48h.
#6 Education app in Belgian App Store in week one.
Works offline in care homes, schools, and on-the-go.
At 21 years old, this is my first App Store app — and seeing people use something I built completely alone, from backend to mobile apps, is surreal.
