That's why I've tried to the death of me to make AI slide generation truly free, free in the sense that it can create whatever you want without being locked into fixed template systems or rigid layout grids like Gamma imposes.
As of now it does that. Layout calculations can still break when placing multiple elements simultaneously, cards or charts can fall off the edge, but it's easily fixed by prompting the AI to read the slide and correct it. I'm pretty proud of where it's gotten. Style references work well, mentioning McKinsey, Apple, Microsoft, or Bauhaus gives the AI a clear visual target. It can pull in images and content from URLs, generate images, and everything is fully editable on a DOM-based slide canvas with modern CSS.
It runs on Claude Sonnet 4.6 for cost reasons. I'm not funded, so I can't let people go completely loose for free, sorry about that, and that's why sign-in is required. I was an investment banking / coding kid who turned vibe coder until I got reasonably good at actual coding. Would love to hear what you think and whether you'd use this over Gamma / Chronicle / PowerPoint with Claude / Canva.
Please try it out, roast me, send me some slides on X, would love to see what you create https://x.com/Lurrree
