Hiring for "Twitter taste" is a thing now

2•husaiin•1h ago
There's a skill that doesn't have a name yet. it's the ability to sit with someone who built a billion-dollar company, listen for two hours, and know exactly which idea from that conversation will make 10 million people stop scrolling and be a topic for discussion on the timeline.

Every founder who has built something massive has 5 great paul Graham like essays inside them. They have lived the insights but they never got to write them down. For every PG who can put his ideas to paper, there are a hundred walking around who are just as sharp but lack the skill, the patience, or the distribution.

This creates a demand for a valuable skill. Talk to the founders, find the essay buried in the conversation, know it's the one and give it the form that reaches millions.

We run Identity Labs, 15 people and have generated 2B views. We work with founders like Bryan Johnson, investors like partners at a16z etc. These people have shaped industries but some of their best ideas are stuck in their heads.

We reverse-engineered virality on X from over a billion data points. Turns out you can engineer it but only if the idea at the core is real. No amount of format tricks save a mid insight.

We are hiring a Creative Director for idea mining. If you have a sense for what spreads on Twitter and why, apply.
