It did strike me as strange that the coder ‘responsible’ had such a well thought out post on X not long after the incident. I read it and thought it had been carefully vetted. And the speed it was released, where he took full responsibility… not really how business works. He would have been tied up with HR, security, and disciplinary meetings for months.
