They would have to admit that they were wrong to switch away from using the proven Aerojet-Rocketdyne AJ-60A boosters (developed for and still flying with the Atlas V family).

ULA uses expendable rockets. From an environmental perspective and also just a basic efficiency perspective this is a no-brainer.

If the Air Force were flying cargo across the country why would we want them to be using cargo planes that get destroyed after a single use?
