NoteSide – Notes that know where you are (a MacOS app)
Built this over 3 months because I kept losing context on notes. You'd jot something down and by the time you found it again you had no idea why you wrote it.
NoteSide is a drawer that lives on the right side of your screen. It saves notes against wherever you are — a URL if you're in a browser, a file path in Finder, or the app you're using. Switch context and the notes switch with you. There's also an All Notes view that jumps you back to exactly where a note was written.
No cloud, no account, no subscription. Everything stays local. $5 one-time.
