This new model is highly intelligent according benchmarks but severely misaligned. It just does not listen to my requests. And its all hidden behind a closed source profit seeking company. And the gall they have to lecture us??
Seriously, what are we doing? I don't know if we want the world to go down this path. The most powerful technology that we don't understand behind closed doors. This is not how the world moves forward.
We need more american open source models. We need to know whats inside these models and we have to decide as a society how to align them. Not Dario Amodei or Sam Altman.
