Show HN: I built a web builder after 6 years of trying

https://whale.kiraaziz.club

finally, after near 6 years I created the only app that I want to build. ok so basically I start learning it, programming and building software about 7/8 years, where see teacher show us how to build a game with scratch 3, well it was first time the it session in school look way too interesting, back then I didn't have computer so I write my first dino game with scratch and papers (I draw the brocks).

then I start learning UI design, I start we some websites builders like axure rp, mobirise and bootsrap studio, so I like them but to be honest I didn't feel free, so I planned to build mine, but I can't, I only know how to print "hello world" with python, but I start learning, js and how to do it with grapes js, the possibility to create app is there, you can have your blocks, drop and drag... but it was not worth it, so I forget about and I build several app, I got job and became better developer, developer where people can see my work and say "wow u build that ??".

so after 5 years from build first stupid demo with grapes js, I start all over again, where I find a react js repo with grapes js, so basically no need to start from scratch, I work on enhance it, optimise it, then I said, those big companies have designer to create their blocks and themplates like webflow and framer, so I got this crazy idea, what if I scrape the urls of any design and start from it, it was an idea that works but not the one you create for your personal website with, so I listed as opensource back then https://github.com/kiraaziz/web-whale.

but then I got this job (that I hated) and forget about it, intel couple a month ago after I leave, I got my passion all over again, so I clone the repo, and start building again: I I enhance ui even better, I add basic functionality like login, workspaces and team working, to organise the projects, it was easy task took about 4/5 hours , because I am already have my SAAS boilerplate name "kira starts", that already have basic features like auth, layouts, teams... so I worry only about building features itself.

back to the web builder, I still have one problem, the scrapped website look bad, really bad, so I spend many times working on enhance it and now, its doing very well, the way I didn't share it as opensource and I am not even planning to sale it, I just want to enjoy it myself, and give me friend access to use it if they ask for. those are video demo if you want to check them: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1E5yHtVBKq https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1E5yHtVBKq
