Do people still doubt the dead internet theory? Almost no one I know uses social media anymore. We, collectively, seem to have disengaged from this weird society that has popped up in the past 20 years. I don’t follow the news. I don’t know what movies are coming out or if my favorite bands have new music in the works. My phone is largely useless, aside from streaming music in my car, maps, the camera, and messaging.

It’s becoming increasingly apparent that most of the internet traffic today is just bots talking to one another. Humans have logged off.
