Well, you’re kind of a joke to think we’re on the verge.

Science is as much the undeceiving of the self as the exploration and development of understanding regarding existential reality.

It is more practical to measure human progress in terms of engineering, not “science.” Modern science is a collection of best stories you are telling yourselves. When you’ve been around long enough you will see that science flip flops and contradicts itself on many or most topics every ten years or so with alarming regularity.

Engineering on the other hand is the useful application of knowledge or understandings toward practical problems and solutions.

Consider our progress by what we may accomplish for ourselves on a humanity as well as individual scale.
