I don't like this article as it really sounds China fabricated propaganda instead of an analysis. We are kinda forgetting that war is a different beast. It's true that at the moment, sending drones is cheaper than intercepting them. But only one year ago, there was no drone war, it was trenches in Ukraine. War is a beast that evolves fast. Passes from men to drones to nuclear in a matter of months. Strenghts like numbers can become weaknesses, as internal cohesion can create friction. China has passed a long time creating passive friction, but we've never seen them launching kamikaze drones yet. Sustaining wars with the favor of the population. The party has always been its strength, can become a weakness if cohesion is lost. In the US it took an election to change radically. In China, a single person commands 1 billion people. Who knows what happens if the leader in chief gets a cold.

Two missing points.

1. The US defense budget is an unacknowledged domestic economic stimulus program.

2. The US is no longer able to understand any political interaction on any level except that of performance.
