Academic historians, collectors, gamers, and homebrew computer makers have all heightened interest in so-called retrocomputing, which we're going to broadly define as focused on creating a practical encounter with older systems, whether it be through emulators, replicas, original hardware, or hybrid approaches that combine the old and new.
