Ask HN: Questions about HN and life questions

2•mwhite•1h ago
I've been reading HN several times a day since 2010. I've got some questions. First, are the people here smarter than me or less smart? This is my personal website: http://michaelawhite.net.

Second: is it somehow AI-generated content if you do not pass some kind of test at the beginning? How is astroturf implemented without a superhuman AI?

Third: I've been diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2015 in New York, but I think I only had marijuana-induced psychosis that would have gone away eventually from using marijuana in Massachusetts after it was decriminalized there. I had three misperceptions of strangers' faces as friends around the time I last smoked marijuana, one command voice immediately after smoking marijuana during a traumatic event, and one potentially combined auditory visual hallucination around the time I started. Can someone help me get off the anti-psychotic I am on? I had 15 "episodes" between 2015 and 2021 that were all panic attacks from reading conspiracy theory material, with only three hallucinations during all of them. The IQ decrease from one dose of these drugs is enough to cause severe panic symptoms. I have read that people are diagnosed with schizophrenia for inappropriate behavior in urban areas. I was initially hospitalized for a panic attack.

Fourth: Anyone want to join a streamlined GeneWeb-based genealogy hosting site written as an HTTP-level wrapper in Python or a declarative point-and-click GUI-DB application editor based on React and SQLAlchemy?

As a young child, I briefly published some writing on various surveillance and tracking software ideas aiming at total environment control for software developers, and potentially web users, by installing efficient tracking layers on web application host operating systems, development operating systems, and network infrastructure. The theoretical consequences of code understanding layers on web application hosts, operating system state monitoring agents on VPS and desktop operating systems, network traffic analysis, APIs between web companies and Internet content catching are immense... if the operating system can hide the extra memory, CPU and disk use and network latency.

I founded Google.com, Wikipedia.org, Facebook.com, Amazon.com, Craigslist.org, Github.com, Heroku.com, Reddit.com, and Wordpress.com as a five-year-old. I clearly remember it. Are these real companies with the reported valuations they have?
