Feels like the typical toxic-CEO discourse: "I can make mistake, that's expected, but if you do I will fire your ass". Musk does that, too. This fake humility in saying "I am human, I can make mistake" as a way to avoid the discussion about their mistakes entirely.
It's easy to say it when there is absolutely no consequence for whatever mistake you make, even if they hurt many people.
