Nobody knows if there is a future for superintelligence. If there is, nobody knows what it will be like.

Perhaps very good, perhaps very bad, perhaps not possible. Ultimately, I think it still comes down to whatever PEOPLE decide.

Is that the same thing as "The Singularity"? If so, why the name change? The name "singularity" is useful, at least, because of the analogy to a break in the model after which prediction becomes impossible.
