To me, an edge means that those who pay more will learn of the post earlier. Selling an edge in this way is incredibly unfair. It is another sign of extreme corruption.
It's bad enough that the market is manipulated at all, particularly via lies. I don't know why people pay attention to the posts at all considering they have little relation to the truth. I guess the market reacting even to the lies is exactly why people pay and trade.
I can imagine these imagined tiers:
≤60s delay: $100/yr
≤30s delay: $1K/yr
≤10s delay: $10K/yr
≤1s delay: $100K/yr
$1m/instance: you get to co-author one post.
It sets a new precedent for how crooks can capitalize.

I can see complaining that people can pay to find out truth earlier. That's a real advantage. But paying to find out lies earlier? That seems to me to be of questionable usefulness.
I suppose that you can expect the market to react (at least to some degree) on the lies, and you might be able to trade on that...
