English isn’t my first language. I used to write directly in English while translating, choosing the right words, and checking grammar in my head—all at the same time.
Research shows that non-native speakers can spend around 50% more time writing in English, while some second-language tasks take nearly twice as long.
That’s why I built Echoo.
I write in my native language inside Slack, Gmail, Notes, or almost any Mac app, press a shortcut, and Echoo replaces my draft with natural English inline.
There’s no AI chat tab, repeated prompting, or copy-pasting between apps.
Everything is customizable: the prompt, tone, output format, keyboard shortcut, and AI model. You can also create commands for rewriting, summarizing, translating, and
more.
Echoo includes 10 free Pro credits, so you can try the complete workflow without adding an API key or payment card.
Echoo doesn’t store your processed text. You can also connect your own AI provider or use a local model for on-device processing.

Looks like the French translation includes "nav" yet the English has it corrected to navigation. How could the French genuinely come up with "nav" when it's not even English?
