A few days ago, I launched my tool on Product Hunt for the first time. Although it didn't rank high, I received four comments and a few upvotes. I felt a small but genuine sense of accomplishment. Naturally, I replied to each comment with care. However, I later got curious about who left those comments and clicked on their X (Twitter) profile links. I was shocked by what I found... out of the four accounts, two were banned, and the other two were created within the last three months with zero posts. Please note that what follows is just my speculation. To me, their comments felt completely natural. They aligned well with my tool's description, and one even offered a genuinely useful feature suggestion. But when I carefully re-examined the wording, I realized the phrases fit the typical output pattern of modern LLMs—that polite, articulate, and well-structured review template. They were very likely bots. Of course, I cannot say for certain that they were AI bots. Has anyone else experienced something similar on Product Hunt or other launch platforms? I'd love to hear your experiences.
