I know it should be useful to very few people from here, but I'll be happy if it helps one person :)

Collecte MTL is a web app (iOS version waiting for Apple review) to know waste collection schedule at any address on Montreal island.

It uses open data provided by the city (which is great!), and is totally free and without ads.
