I am surprised that it isn't attacked more often, but I also suspect that it is more resilient than we take credit for and/or many are just holding out until it is necessary.
Having AI agents rapidly iterate the attacks and attack vectors however is a fairly novel thing of the last few years. It makes these kinds of attached much more viable simply due to the speed of finding and executing vulnerabilities.
