Not surprised at all. While there is some chill in the air, this has been a very mild winter down south.
We will be heading into summer right as the impact of the "Super" El Nino starts to show up. It take about 6 months from on set in the oceans before it starts to really be felt in the atmosphere, thus the lag time.
