I really hate how this is being reported. I agree with this guy's stance on this issue, but this is being reported as if the guy was arrested for taking a particular political viewpoint.
He wasn't. He wasn't even arrested for clapping, but for refusing to leave when asked. The "no clapping" rule was made very clear before the start of the meeting and applied to everyone regardless of their political viewpoint.
