Show HN: How we use AI agents for support in an open-source project (Seafile)

2•Daniel-Pan•54m ago
Hi HN, i want to share my experience of using AI agents.

Background: Running an open-source project is no easy task. With a small team handling every issue means valuable time spend on searching for context and doing the right action.

Vision: I believe that well-designed software can revolutionize the way we approach work, enabling us to streamline processes, eliminate redundancies, and unlock new levels of creativity and focus.

What happened: SeaTicket was created for our own use, so my team can manage the support issues, easily and effectively. And when it showed that it has potential i decided to launch specifically for the open source community, so they can also resolve their support issues, without causing their team to have stuck on never ending search for context.

What it does: Brings all the context from all your tools, and give suggestions to what is the right action.

How it help: Duplicated Resolved issues, resolves in one click. new bugs are tracked by tickets.

How it differentiate: It has live knowledge(Github, Discord,Email and forum) and also the knowledge base.

Final thought: a missed support issue in github, will cause your community to loose the trust on the product and your team .
