We're looking for someone who is passionate about building and has the agency to drive projects to completion without being asked twice. You should be excited by the prospect of owning a large part of our games team, and continuously looking for more responsibility to take on. The work is demanding and it's rewarding, usually for the same reasons.
You'll ship a new game every month, from empty repo to live in front of millions of players. You'll invent the mechanics yourself. Nobody hands you a spec or a design doc. You pitch the ideas, prototype them within days, and cut the ones that don't hold up in playtesting. You own the whole lifecycle, from concept and prototype through build, playtest, launch, and post-launch iteration against real retention and engagement data. And you make the calls that come with that: scope, tech choices, and what's good enough to ship are yours to decide and defend.
Above all, we hire for slope. We want people willing to match the pace and energy of the company's growth curve, and we regularly double down on our top people. Strong product sense matters to us more than any particular résumé, and an appetite to grow your career matters more than where that career currently stands.
Triumph is a high-scale consumer platform spanning gaming, finance, and social, growing 16x year over year. The engineering team is small and growing quickly, which means genuine leadership opportunity and wide latitude to set technical direction. We pay competitively, with healthcare, vision, dental, 401k, and a $400/month lunch credit. We gather five days a week at our headquarters in San Francisco.
