Google search filter by date seems broken

1•camel-cdr•52m ago
I tend to search for a few topics with the filter set to past 24 hours and past week. Today that feature seems broken and returns a lot of years old results. Somebody else had a similar problem, but not sure if this effects everybody.

Does this work for you: https://www.google.com/search?q=%22simd%22&prmd=inv&tbs=qdr%3Aw

It should only give results from the past week or articles recently updated, but for me ir shows some old stuff from 2018 that clearly hasn't been changed in ages.

I had a quick look.

Yes I noted some apparently older links, one from the source didn't seem to list a date -- however it didn't render in my older browser with a big deny list. Others I checked [1] [2] suggest time used is based on last modified date.

[1] 25 May 2018 https://en.cppreference.com/cpp/experimental/simd Last modified 25 July 2026
