You ever notice how when the vast majority of people are neutral about a topic, the window always seems to get shifted to become more permissive, not less?

That's good for public perception of niche sexualities, bad for tech regulations that are being pushed by the most evil people on the planet

That's why I actually take a firm stance against AI. Not because I necessarily think it is a default evil technology that has no upside

But because sitting on the fence is going to allow the people driving AI to push through the absolute worst possible abuses of the technology they possibly can

If that means I'm annoying, so be it. I can live with being annoying, it's better than being complacent
