At Wildwood, redemption is a counter at an arcade where you can trade the tickets you win for crappy things you do not need. It is staffed by a bored girl with a Slavic accent.

You use money you earn from playing serious games to pay for the privilege of playing trivial games. Success at those games determines how many tickets you get. "Tickets" these days are just credits on a card and not the paper of the past.

The only game worth playing is Space Invaders, but only if you forget about the tickets and the possibility of redemption.
