The issue is that these things only come after they’ve cross the line and there is enough public backlash to make fixing it a business decision. Doing the right thing to make a good experience is not the core driver internally. They are trying to find the line of how much bs people are willing to tolerate. They aren’t removing the ads, they are reducing them… that’s them looking to find that line.
