AI is great. AI makes everyone very productive. AI will cure all the diseases. AI will transform our workday. Our God and Saviour - AGI - is about to arrive. That is the gospel that AI evangelists have been bringing to the working class for the past four years. Subscribe on :https://msukhareva.substack.com/subscribe? The gospel is well received by C-level managers, board members and others. But mere mortals seem to be less thrilled. While managers watch AI generated presentations by external consulting companies pitching the ultimate promise of autonomy, their employees still prefer saving their data in Excel and using Ctrl-F to asking the fancy assistant in their office suite. Those of you who work outside of the tech bubble and are frequently in contact with people who genuinely ask who JSON is, you will know that they are, to put it mildly, not thrilled about the transformational power of large language models. This is an article about why this is the case, and how you can still convince them that technology is rather a friend than a foe. if you want to continue reading this article go on: https://msukhareva.substack.com/p/your-employees-do-not-want...
