Hi, author here. I've been building Travel Log for the past ~6 months and the latest build was approved for TestFlight today. I started building this app because I wanted a better way to record all of my trips without having to do anything manually. The hardest part has been trying to infer intent from a series of GPS coordinates. It turns out that a few simple rules and a second opinion from a local AI model can go surprisingly far. While this is still in beta, it should work just fine for most people. It would be really interesting to see how it behaves for people who live near borders, have multiple main residences, or make long daily commutes.
