Thanks to JOOQ, now it's a reliable replacement for Spring Data and Hibernate and it's very suitable if you want to follow the DDD/CQRS style of development, with hassle free Event Sourcing. Consider it as a persistence framework for event driven systems, with easy integration with Kafka/Pulsar. in case you don't want Kafka/Pulsar, you can also use listen-to-yourself pattern with local-event-handler module which is already available in this framework.
