I have been using email verification APIs on multiple products. Almost every product had to rely on it to avoid fake signups, people using disposable addresses, and so on.
However, many of the email verification services are expensive (as compared to their "cost" of performing such operation) and so I decided to build it out.
This was a need because the email verification API I was using was getting too expensive for high volume.
So, not sure if there are people out there feeling similar. I initially started it as an internal API but then I decided to actually launch it for others too.
