I can't access anything right now. Blocked from my files in Proton Drive. No emails. Nothing. Can't work at all.

UPDATE: "We have identified a critical cooling failure in our Frankfurt datacenter. We are currently in the process of shifting traffic to our backups sites."
alexamelvin•27m ago
Interesting, we just had a major outage with NameCheap by cause of cooling failures. Hmmmm... make you think.

Is it this? https://www.namecheap.com/status-updates/ongoing-temporary-t...
lillesvin•55m ago
Last thing I saw before my Proton Mail stopped responding was the "how are we doing?" survey modal, which I dismissed because I just wanted to get to my email.

Hope it's nothing too bad.

Don't they keep a local copy like Bitwarden does?

gradstudent•31m ago
How is it the browser extension doesn't have a local cache? It seems like basic functionality. I'm having to copy passwords by hand from the mobile app, which does have a local cache.

Anyway, it's a good reminder: self-host all the things!
