The german military is a joke. I'm not sayin that lightly.

Over the course of 20 years they have killed of the ladt pieces of credibiliyt they had left. They got consultants which sucked all the money out of the budget, leaving hardly anything for equipment. Morale is terrible and competent people leave to go where they are valued, well paid and don't need to feel like a joke.

It's very sad, but anybody you talk to from "the inside" will confirm. The only reason people stay is job security until they retire.
