I recreated a short version of the traditional West African folktale “Tortoise and the Birds” using LEGO-style animation.

The story is about Tortoise using his cleverness to join a feast in the sky, but his greed ultimately gets him into trouble.

I was interested in seeing whether a very old oral storytelling tradition could work in a simple, modern LEGO visual format.
