It was inspired by "Code Dream Skin," a project that went viral on GitHub. However, I found the original setup process rather complex. Believing that users prefer simplicity, I developed my own native Codex plugin based on the same underlying principles and released it as open-source.

You can quickly download the plugin by copying the command-line instruction from the official website. Once installed, you can use natural language commands within Codex to switch to your desired skin.

I have personally created 23 skins so far (avoiding any themes that might infringe on copyrights). My design philosophy centers on creating skins that are aesthetically pleasing without compromising the standard user experience. I believe that to retain users and ensure the skins offer genuine value, the usability of Codex must remain the top priority—it cannot be sacrificed. For instance, skin colors must not blend with the output text, and the visual design shouldn't be so complex that it distracts the user from their work.
