Is there any way to contribute to nitter and xcancel's legal fights?

5•orange999•40m ago
Really, X's legal claims against those websites are bullshit and Musk probably knows that. Linkedin lost a similar case. Musk himself even lost similar data scraping lawsuits against Bright Data and the Center for Countering Digital Hate.

But the real reason why X has been able to shut down Nitter and XCancel is just because those websites aren't going to be able to afford a legal fight, even though they almost certainly would win a lawsuit.

So, is there any way we can contribute to their legal fight against Musk?

I cannot answer this question, but you can always run your own instance scraping X, serving it as a pull through cache, while creating torrents to serve of the archive, all from outside a jurisdiction Musk can get to. If you're paying, you're contributing.
