I noticed I needed a time management technique when I started learning programming on my own during the pandemic. As I would get distracted or bored quickly, already isolated from the world, I had to find a way to keep my focus and manage my time efficiently, ultimately being productive and consistent over time. My in depth researches led me to the Pomodoro technique. A methodological way to manage time and focus, to track progress and gamify the process for fun.
Up until recently I'd been using the original Marinara extension on the Chrome Web Store with great enjoyment and benefits, but ever since Google updated its requirements for the extensions, most of the extensions, including the mentioned extension itself, became outdated and inaccessible overnight.
Struggling to find a quality and reliable alternative, I've decided that now is my turn to pay the debt of gratitude back to the open source community and rolled up sleeves and developed an extension with the Marinara concept, and eventually open sourced it. It will be always free and open source, just like its predecessor. In the end, it's about providing the people with the right tools (bonus if they are fun and quality!) to enhance their life and give them more amenities. The polished and enhanced extension, Enhanced Marinara™ exactly aims to do that.
