I've been in tech for around 15 years now, started at an ISP, then an MSSP, then an enterprise and now a security vendor.

Despite that, my wife says I have been doing the same thing all this time. Drawing diagrams and technical writing. So I consider myself an expert in that area.

Blueprintr is my attempt at making the diagram the document rather than part of the document. Its not just a drawing tool, its designed to be a fully featured documentation hub (knowledge-base, wiki, whatever you want to call it).

What's actually different from the drawing tools I've used: - Shapes are clickable - Any shape can open a panel of rich content: notes, runbooks, embedded video, code sandboxes, dashboards etc - Icon packs are pre-included (where I am allowed to do so) - You can connect a cloud account and import what's actually deployed

Again, Blueprintr is more than just a drawing tool, in a nutshell there are 6 primary 'tools' in this toolbox: Blueprints: The primary thing you actually create

Vellum: The first-party diagram editor (YAML based)

Stratum: The thing that pops up when you click a shape

Continuum: The engine that connects to other platforms (AWS, Azure, Solarwinds, Github etc)

Podium: Diagram as slides

Folium: Traditional 3-pane documentation

Atrium: A no-code customizable KB homepage

Please give it a go and let me know what you think!
