At the end of October I suffered a traumatic brain injury(TBI) an ischemic stroke (that killed a largw chunk of my right brain.I wanted To describe how I use LLMs afterwards it isdifficult for me to use my left hand to type as a result of having poor fine motor control even ifSo interfacing with you an LLMor any app that requires text input is very difficult typing with just my right hand I have many errors . One of the other side effects of the stroke is that I'm continuing to have eye tracking issues where my eyes aren't properly converging and my brain is occasionally suppressing input from either eye I'm working with a neuro optometrist and doing vision therapy to help with these issues and making slow progress This is the root Cause of my issues typing with my right hand So what I found useful is to describe to the LLM the nature of the typical junked up inputs I tell claude "Assume all inputs may have typos that are off by at least one character on the keyboard or missing spaces between words or duplicate charactersor or are an adjacent ke y on the keytboard.or have extra spaces Voice to text has been very helpful as a result of my tracking problems even texting on a phone is very difficult and error prone.i've done physical thrapy to relearn how to walk and doimg occupational trherapy to try to get my left hand back.PSA, know stroke symptoms I didn't am paying the price. see https://www.urgentteam.com/healthy-living-tips/think-f-a-s-t... In my case my right carotid artery in my neck had a dissection https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/aortic-dissec... which is a fancy way of for saying its going to decide to delaminate and cause turbulence that causes a clot the clot cut oxygen blood flow and oxygen off to my right brain luckily some neighbors did a Wellness check on me and called 911 and the EMTS got me into the hospital Were they administered a an anticoagulant And we're able to get rid of the clot and restore blood flow .Strokes can happen at any age inMy case I was under the age of 60 and everyone was quite surprised that it happened

Imaging has shown that dissection his heeled up nicely and there's not likely any further risk of issues from it

BE FAST should be taught to everybody. Because for most people living alone, the odds of a wellness check being done fast enough to rescue you are slim to none. So it's important to go unlock the front door and call 911 whilst you still can.

Did you fall and hit your head too? Because a stroke doesn't count as Traumatic Brain Injury as far as I know.

I wish you well on you recovery!
