Ask HN: Who has been contacted by 5+ hiring platforms?

2•Rapzid•59m ago
Been contacted by well over 5 pop-up "hiring platforms" in response to "Who Wants to be Hired?" this past month. Vast majority reference the hacker news post.

My knee-jerk reaction is we should name-and-shame, but it honestly feels hopeless at this point. Like the internet is well and truly cooked.

Back when I was hiring my team we looked through HN posts quite a bit to reach out. It's a good resource for potential employers. With everyone trying to AI-ify everything these days, makes sense they'd try to do the same with their "platform".

Are we all just going to go back to doing everything IRL? At least until the humanoid robots start following us on the street.

Am I missing something? You posted that you wanted to be hired, some job placement firms reached out, referencing your post.
