The released `lomt` binary can compile Loment source to native x86-64 ELF/PE binaries. Python is not required to run the compiler; it is only used as a reference implementation for byte-for-byte validation.
Multiple syntax frontends share identical core semantics and IR; primary syntax is Rust-like.
`lompi` interop supports calling libraries written in C, C++, Java, Go, C#, and Python.
Core design ideas include dual-implementation bytewise validation and a capability-domain security model.
Current limitations:
- GC is not implemented yet
- Full convergent byte-identical bootstrap validation is still ongoing
If the community grows, we plan to create a developer committee to manage peripheral modules: FFI bindings, syntax frontends, standard library and documentation.
Core semantics, bootstrapping invariants and capability-domain rules remain under the original author’s final decision. Committee membership requires prior substantial contributions.
