I wanted to see if I could build a prototype for an iPhone gaming dock: somewhere to put the phone while playing on a TV, with HDMI, power and a cooling fan.

I spent an afternoon with GPT-6 Astra and 100% of my weekly limit on a Pro subscription. Went through 11 iterations.

I’ve never used Blender before, so this was cool: it made the 3D designs in Blender, did market research and thermal evaluation, found components and estimated the bill of materials from supplier listings. Then it put together the website and email signup flow.

I just ordered some off-the-shelf parts to test it out.
