You handle everything between the runway and gates, issuing pushback, taxi, takeoff, and landing clearances to aircraft in this simulator, with aircraft logic and command mechanics working as close as I could to memory of how real ATC works. I've both flown planes as a student pilot and also hold aircraft maintenance certification so there is a lot of my judgement in this too.
These are all real airports, aircraft, weather, and operator patterns, referenced to publicly available airport data and satellite imagery, alongside input from fellow professionals in the industry.
There are synthetic aircraft engine sounds that use powerplant-specific sound parameters such as turbofans using N1%/N2% with turboprops having a TRQ% parameter in addition, tuned to match different general engine types. (like the howl of a CFM LEAP-1A/B being different to the buzzing of a RR RB211)
It works best on desktop, the phone mode is there but is a little bit clunky. No download or signup, all in the browser ready to go, with a quick tutorial under "how to play" to get you up to speed in aviation phraseology.
This is a quasi-simulator, based on real-world operations but with some game-like aspects to keep the player engaged and the overall simulator visually appealing. Keflavík (BIKF) and Stockholm-Arlanda (ESSA) are the two airports currently modelled in the simulator by yours truly.
I would love to hear anyone's thoughts, especially curious to get feedback on the mechanics and experience from ANSP-adjacent or aviation professionals.
