Show HN: Use your own Amazon SES account for email workflows

1•ksajadi•51m ago
Hey HN!

We built SendOps because we think email can be a good medium to help users through their journey with your product. Onboarding a new user and helping them in their journey in your product can be specific to the actions they take, their goals and it allows them to read or explore in their own time and not based on your timeline.

After a while of running a service for a few years, we all end up with a few thousand if not hundreds of thousands of emails who signed up for our service. Some become customers, some never try the service and some might activate at some point in the future, when the time is right.

Email workflows (drip campaigns etc) have existed for a long time. However, all workflow providers charge both per email and per contact you have on your books. This usually means one of two things:

1. you pay a lot of money for contacts you don't email often. 2. you have to keep modifying your list based on your communication to avoid higher bills.

We also wanted to be able to build effective and useful email workflows using our coding agents. The result of our work is SendOps: SendOps is an email workflow product that sends emails through your own AWS SES account, charges no fees for contacts, or per email (just a flat fee subscription) and lets your coding agents help you with building your email workflows.

We hope you find SendOps useful. We've been members of HN community for a long time and love how direct and helpful your feedback is. So, please try it out if you think it can be useful to you (we have free-forever tier) and let us know what you think!
