It is not socially acceptable to be texting or typing in most meetings I'm in, so I built Scrbbl - hand write a question with an Apple Pencil, underline it three times, and the answer streams back in handwriting below it. Circle it instead for a longer answer.
Sending a picture of the handwriting to the model beat on-device OCR by a wide margin on messy writing.
Speed mattered more than depth for short answers, so the fast mode turns reasoning off.
It needs to be able to search the web for current answers.
MIT licensed. Feedback on additional gestures? Adding AI providers?
I don't think there's a path to monetization. Honestly, I just want Apple to incorporate this into Notes (Goodnotes too).

Try it: https://testflight.apple.com/join/WvMPFk74 (you bring your own OpenAI API key, stored in the iPad's Keychain).
